You are kindly asked to respect the Administrators, Moderators & Regional organisers of ClubVEC and their decisions
at all times.

Remember there are real people behind these screens with real feelings, we don’t all feel the same about things and have different views.

If any member is verbily abused on the forums or by p.m the agressor will be removed from the club. Remember this is a family club and we want to keep it that way.

This is a rule that will be followed at all times.

User Profile's

Are mainly for admin use! although you can see user profile's you are asked to repect all members, If you wish to add them to msn or any other messaging client you are to get the permission from that member first as this could be construed as harrassment if that member doesn't wish to be added.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IDENTITY THEFT OR IDENTITY FRAUD OF ANY TYPE IS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS WEBSITE.
ANYONE CAUGHT USING ANOTHER MEMBERS ACCOUNT OR TRYING TO MISLEAD THE STAFF OF THIS SITE WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT NOTIFICATION.


Swearing

Light swearing is allowed. HOWEVER, excessive swearing and swearing directed at others in an insulting manner will not be tolerated. The occasional swear word should not be a problem, occasional being the keyword here. Making remarks that could be viewed as Racist or Homophobic are to be avoided.



Harassment

Harassing and threatening of other users WILL NOT be tolerated. You need to remember that there are real people behind these usernames, real people who have real feelings. This is not to be taken lightly. Moderators / Administrators reserve the right to delete any posts if they find them inappropriate in any way.
Sexual harassment of any kind is illegal! If the post is extreme enough authorities will be contacted to apprehend the offender under charges of sexual harassment , If you are found (after all the evidence has been given) to be harassing any fellow members of “ClubVEC” forums you will be removed and banned from the club.



Nudity & Pornographic Material

Posting on the forums or even worse linking to sexually explicit remarks or any type of pornographic images is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. This is an automatic banning offence and will not be tolerated at all. Offenders will be dealt with in an appropriate manner. The only exception is the over 18’s Section, but still only light nudity is expected.



Spamming

Spamming is very annoying for genuine posters please DO NOT post off topic rubbish for the sole purpose of raising your post count; this is a good way to become unwanted on the forums, as it sometimes makes it hard for users to find info. Please do try to keep to the topic posted, we are aware that sometimes people sway off topic but please keep this to a minimum for ease of use to the members.



Forum Abuse Policy

1st Offense - A polite Private Message from a Moderator pointing out the Forum Rules, in addition to the editing or deletion of the post
2nd Offense - Public warning on the message board plus deletion of post
3rd Offense - Moderators will discuss with admin and possibly delete the user from clubVEC.com forums.



Picture Sizes

Avatars: 110 x 83 Max Size = 50kb
Signatures: 400 x 75 Max Size = 50kb
All Pictures: 640 x 480 Max Size = 100kb

These must be obeyed. Any picture, signature, avatar or photo that does not conform to these sizes will be removed and offenders asked to re-post within the limits. Continual flouting of these rules will result in the upload feature being disabled for the offender.



Private Messaging

Private messages are what they say they are Private. Please respect the privacy of fellow members, do not post a “PM” on the forums without the senders permission. Private messages are not a means of attacking fellow members either, just because you think we can’t see it, if any member of these forums is attacked or abused by any other member then you are to contact any member of staff straight away. Any member found guilty of this offence will be banned.



For Sale Section

These Guidelines are here to guide you through buying or selling on ClubVEC, we want you to enjoy the facility of buying and selling through other members. First of all please state a price when selling items on the forums.

It is recommended that once you agree a sale either buying or selling you follow these steps.

1. Full Name, Address & Postcode.
2. Telephone Number not a mobile one
3. Confirm details of what you are buying / selling
4. A recommended Payment Method preferably paypal / postal order / banker’s draft or money transfer
5. Make sure you contact that person and write all details down on paper.

This is for your own safety and to save any embarrassment between you and the seller.

ClubVEC is not responsible for any disagreements or monies lost, but will do our best to mediate any disputes, as long as these basic rules have been followed!

Merchandise

Anything that has a ClubVEC logo on it must come through the Merchandise Manager so it can then be approved through the admin team before it can be created or even sold on the forums or at shows & events, anyone found to break this rule will have their account removed
.
Please note that the merchandise team go to great lengths to bring you the best deals possible.

When at meets and events you will be under the guidance of the ClubVEC admin team and staff, the reason for this is because you are representing the ClubVEC name, so your co-operation while at events is very much needed for the safety of all attending.

While at shows & events just remember you are representing a club and not a boy racers fraternity, so at no point will drunkenness or abuse be tolerated by the ClubVEC staff, nor will boy racer antics of any nature i.e. burnouts, revving engines, or overall speeding. These rules for shows & events will be adhered to for the safety of others and most of all for the safety of children; anyone who tries to test these rules will automatically be banned from the club, & will also be reported to the local authorities.
ClubVEC is not liable for any damage caused to vehicles while on a ClubVEC stand at any shows and events; you have your own independent insurance policies that cover for accidental damage.
